Acupuncture & Eastern Medicine Holistic Healer
Millie is a student of the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, which is a post baccalaureate academic institution dedicated to educating and equipping individuals as healthcare practitioners whose practice is based on the theories, principles, and clinical applications of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). They embrace the tenets of Western science and promote the integration of TCM into mainstream biomedicine. Millie believes that the collaboration of Oriental and Western medicines has resulted in a great number of advances in the treatment of illness, resulting in better health care for all. She has 10 years of experience in acupuncture, a key component of traditional Chinese medicine, which is most commonly used to treat pain. Increasingly, it is being used for overall wellness, including stress management and addiction. According to Millie, patients report an enhanced sense of well-being and a deep feeling of relaxation after an acupuncture treatment. These modalities alleviate stress and depression symptoms by releasing endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers.
